The effect of alpha 11 on tumor growth, phatology and metastasis. (copy)

We want to investigate the role of the integrin alpha 11 in breast cancer. We will study the role of integrin alpha 11 on growth, pathology and metastasis using immunodeficient alpha 11 knockout mice and compare the effects to wild-type (control mice).

Furthermore, we will isolate stromal and tumor cells from these tumors that will be further analyzed in spheroid assays and primary cultures.
